About

Hello, you!

I am a second-year PhD researcher in Design Informatics at the University of Edinburgh, funded by the Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP) scholarship.

With a distinction in Cultural Policy from the University of Glasgow and a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Product Design from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), I explore the intersection of design, technology, heritage, and the creative industries, focusing on ethical and responsible human–AI co-creativity as the core of my doctoral research. My broader concern for the cultural and societal implications of emerging technologies also makes me an affiliated student of the “Creativity, AI, and the Human” research cluster and “Centre for Technomoral Futures” at the Edinburgh Futures Institute.

Prior to my doctoral studies, I was a lecturer at a private university in South Tangerang, Indonesia, with over six years of experience teaching creativity, product semantics, design history, and design thinking, among others. My professional work includes projects involving the application of technology in museums and the design of cultural products.

I believe the future of technology must be human-centred and humane-oriented, while the study of ethics will soon become the new sustainability, gaining prominence in the increasingly ambiguous world.
